Like, through the tutorial, I think? Or maybe you just can't transfer characters while still in the free trial? I can't really say, and I'm not entirely certain on either of the guesses. Hopefully someone more familiar with transfers will be able to give you the answers you need. As for the free trial, um... I guess you could just uninstall/not play and let it "run out"?
