
It's annoying to me, but I just ignore it and go by approximate US times or whatever time the RP is meant to be set (i.e. "morning" if it's some characters eating breakfast). Though I've only had it happen once or twice, the only time it's really bothersome is when another role-player acknowledges the in game day/night cycle IC and you have to either brush it off and accept it in character as well for that scene.
The rapidly changing weather and constant spurts of rain can get disruptive to outdoor RP if they're always acknowledged, too, I find.
