Accept this with my well wishes for everyone this holiday season.
T’was the night before Starlight, Through Hydaelyns lands;
The people were hustling, Much gil changing hands.
I handled my gifts, In my rucksack with care.
Since I knew there were brigands, With a most greedy glare.
The thieves they were lurking all proud in their vile,
As visions of sorrow would be here awhile.
With a Roe raising fists, and I with my sack
My FATE was to end, with strength that I lack.
Â
When out from the sky, with the ring of the bell,
Some hero had yelled “Not to worry, all is wellâ€.
Away to the alleys I ran in a huff,
As I hoped this new hero would be quite enough.
Â
The stars in the sky felt renewed with much hope.
That justice would befall the large thieving dope.
As before my wide eyes, from the tower they fell,
Came a red legged lady, and a grumpy lalafell.
Â
With moves like a whirlwind, so fierce and so quick.
I could not help but notice, her dynamite kick.
The lala as well with his spells made of fire,
Could still not resolve his obvious ire.
Â
Her fists they had snapped, her smile so merry.
Her boots were quite built, even colored like a cherry.
The violence felt more, like a lark than a chore
The thieves were running, more than a bit sore.
Â
With nary a word, the two walked on their way.
I figured at least I should give them some pay.
But I heard her yell out, in the clear starlit night,
“It’s Starlight my friend, now on to the next fight.â€
