Well, they each have a Scion of Light assigned to them, which never appears in-game in FF12. But... Well, some of those names seem kinda familiar, right? We know that Cúchulainn in FFXIV is from the 13th Shard, and so is Nabriales. Other named Ascians include Lahabrea, who seems to be from the Source (does this mean "Mateus" is the canon name for the PC WoL?), Igeyorhm (not from the 13th or the Source, but had a hand in the 13th's demise), and Pashtarot... and, uh, randomly, Elidibus. But we'll ignore that, since he seems to be a bit of an outlier in other ways too. We also know Zodiark as the Ascians' god in FF14, as a crystal who seems to be equal+opposite to Hydaelyn, the Mother Crystal. Zodiark's star-sign in FF12 is Orphiuchus, which the trinket Lahabrea was obsessed with at the end of 2.0 is a star within. A certain someone else is a nearby constellation, too - the snake that the "snake-bearer" is supposed to be holding, I think. Anyway... it's hard to say where it all fits together - we know the devs have said FF14 is a "theme park" of other FF's, so there are going to be aspects and shout-outs. But it's hard to say if they're going to intend for the shards to literally be the other FF games. I guess I'm gonna echo the "why though?" - what character development will this give? What things will it allow you to do with the character, narratively speaking? What practical impact will it have on them? The way I see it, since there's no possible way for your character to reliably travel to or intervene with these events (inter-universe travel, as we've seen it so far, generally seems to involve... death... or extraneous circumstances), these visions will presumably have as much practical impact on your character's day-to-day life as those weirdly elaborate dreams everyone sometimes has...
