With the help of Grenat Querroux and his friend, Singing Raptor, Syranelle manages to track the Ishgardian Traitor all the way across the Black Shroud to the Mun-Tuy Cellars near Quarrymill. Calling in Irridias Velnyx to help with his myriad magitek, they uncover a secret Garlean tunnel in the cellars leading to the nearby Castrum. It's within that tunnel that they find their quarry, attacked and downed by his own abused chocobo.

Ree took custody of the traitor then, taking him back to Ishgard for questioning. Syranelle took the abused chocobo back to Bentbranch Meadow to see that it was properly taken care of. Before they all parted ways, both Grenat and Singing Raptor promised their help when and if the Chroniclers pursued the missing shipment into the Castrum.
