This leads to people making blanket statements like "Miqo'te are all the same" which anyone knows isn't true. There are spectacular Miqo'te RPers and bland, boring RPers using other races.
There's also the lore tidbit about male Miqo'te being 'rare' which has been completely obliterated by the RP community.
Regardless, don't let comments like that get to you. Play your character the way you want.
