Of course I don't want to move away from the most popular RP server, but I still play the game first and RP second. With that said, I think we need somewhere on the site that's easy to find and says RP server = Balmung. EU server = whatever there is. At the moment they're hard to find unless you know who to ask. Just something to consider.
Yes, click on linkshells/FC tabs and it gives you Balmung/Gilgamesh/Other. A little vague IMO
This is something I'd love to do. But the topic gets brought up often with little else. Adding tabs and tags is easy enough, but building out a "community" on another server to a point that new players want to choose it over Balmung has been a stuggle of every other server mentioned on the RPC. (Even Gilgamesh. But Jenova and Siren have caught my eye and Mateus has a few in the Halls.)
For such a thing to take off, there'd need to be a lot of build-up, encouragement and coordination. ...which people usually just don't want to do when Balmung is there and already primed. But that's off-topic for this thread.
It's important to note that RPC doesn't control where RPers go. And it's been the stance of past and present staff to remain as neutral as possible in that subject. (Especially after the Balmung vs gilgamesh threads of old).
