Like Six said the linkshell list at the top. I'd probably say that there are lots, and they fall into three main categories... and most are quiet. IC - these tend to have an IC existence contain a few active people but you need an IC reason to join FC based - really for friends of the free company in question Themed - either RP, leveling or some other reason to get together and have rules or some sort imposed General chatter - with all the nonsense that comes from that I'd suggest picking one of the general RP focused LS to start with as a good way to start finding other RPers.
