Server choice tribalism is one of the sillier things I've seen. Â The best way to counter it is to not opt in. Â Have as much prosocial fun as you can, bond with individual people as you will, and if server history comes up it's somehow more a point of trivia than a central defining fact.
It's harder than it sounds, especially for people who spent a long time on one particular server and made a lot of great memories there, but the fact is that these things stay with you regardless of where you go. Â No cranky stranger can devalue it.
