Howdy. If you're looking for the Scholarly type, my Elezen, Armantiel Xavielan, might fit with your character well enough. He's a Black Mages that masquerades around as a Thaumaturge. He's a few of the Elezen tropes, dry in his humor, reserved, polite that sort of thing. Though, he'll vehemently say he's nothing like the rest of his race; going so far as to move to Ul'dah just to get away from Gridania. That's the short of it, the story is a little longer and more complex than that.
