Wanna make sure I get it right.
They attach at the point as human ear canal would be -- the actual opening of the ear itself. If you need a reference, use the Character create in-game and go with the "conch" face (you can see it in my avatar) and the really short hair which came out with Stormblood (which has one side braided/shaved).Â
