Rumors and Story Aspects
a) The Dangers of Knowing Too Much (Friday, September 1st, 2017, 9 pm CST)
Sergeant Donovan, man-at-arms of House Fortemps, is to be questioned for his involvement in the apparent kidnapping and corruption of other armsmen. Inquisitor Brigie suspects that his handlers might try to keep him quiet, most especially the enigmatic and dangerous Lord Chagrin, an apparently rogue Dragoon of Ishgard. She requests the presence of Adventurers to ensure the sergeant's safety, and possibly healers, given the damage the man previously sustained to his mind.
"The Inquisition has a... difficult... reputation, but in this instance, it seems like there really is a threat to Ishgard. Or at least some of its people. Kidnappings, rogue dragoons... brainwashing? Mind control maybe even? No, this is no good."

b) Better Red Than Dead (Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, 9 pm CST)
Sarah Whyte, now-retired Lieutenant of the Brass Blades of the Aster, stationed at Camp Nowhere, has posted a leve. 'My last command was slaughtered out in the desert, the deep south of Thanalan. Thirty soldiers and three priests of Nald'Thal and two of us got out alive. I'm not a Blade anymore but I want closure. It was some sort of monster, a killer with red hair that moved like lightning and cut armored men in half faster than you can blink. It needs to be tracked, and stopped.'
"I have a bad feeling. If it's who I think it is, she's either off killing for X'zarann.. or just killing for fun. Either way, I agree with the ex-Blade, she needs to be stopped."

c) Trouble in Paradise (Sunday, September 10th, 2017, 6 pm CST)
The news that an open (if currently one-way) portal in a ransacked mansion-fortress in the heart of Ul'dah leads to a tropical island paradise is not, in Flame Captain Maximillian Maximus' estimation, cause for celebration. Now-wanted-for-questioning (by the Order of Nald'Thal, as well as various legal entities) Monetarist Goldentail is said to be in hiding there, along with at least one other Person Of Interest: the Nunh of the Falling Stars, X'zarann Silverfall Nunh. The Captain is bringing a sizeable force through the portal, and has come to accept Adventurer assistance as one of the unfortunate necessities of unusual missions.
"X'zarann lounging around on a tropical island.. so very suspiciously out of character. Is he really just going to hang out and watch Goldentail get arrested? He doesn't like her all that much, right now... then again these days I don't know what my brother is thinking."

d) Shades of White (Saturday, September 16th, 2017, 7 pm CST)
An unquiet soul needs to be put to rest. A message has appeared, to some few; written on a wall, a letter with no sender, a dream.
'A life lived in darkness does not always find the light once ended. For the sake of my children, the ghost of their father must be released from his undying rage, and hate. I beg your aid.'

HOUSE RULE: For Starsfall, players are allowed to, if they wish, purchase a Stunt (like any other stunt, this is not a bonus stunt, simply a bonus rule for Starsfall) that works in the following manner: +1 to a single skill, with a single, simple condition, otherwise always active. The cap to which a skill may be brought with this sort of Stunt is 5.
NOTE: This Stunt is not available to characters who already have a natural +5 in a skill.
EXAMPLE: Gain +1 to Fight as long as you are fighting with fist weapons. This may not bring your Fight higher than 5.

Rumors and Story Aspects
- /End of the Golden(tail) Age/ - Following an eruption of Voidsent and a pitched battle at reclusive Monetarist Moiraine Astervane (aka Goldentail)'s manor, she is in deep trouble with the Ossuary; combined with previously-started legal mutterings, as driven by rivals, many a rat has begun to desert this sinking ship.
- /A City Lit By Flames/ - With a major faction of the Brass Blades taking a major hit, and the leadership of the Golden Horde seeming unfocused without an enemy to fight, the power vacuum in Ul'dah has been filled by the Immortal Flames. Naturally, where power goes, corruption follows...
- /Falling Stars, Rising in the West/ - A tribe of miqo'te from the arctic seems to have not only found their way to La Noscea, but engaged in some form of protracted tribal warfare with the kobolds in and around the U'ghamoro Mines. Working in concert with a growing faction of arcanists, numerous crippling blows have been dealt to the beastman tribe, to general acclaim by all the good (non-beastmen) folks of La Noscea.
- /A Curious Exodus/ - Warriors from the savage Falling Stars sept have been piqued with a curiosity for the outside world. By land, sea and air, more of them are leaving their home - and traditional, xenophobic mindset - behind in favor of seeing this Outside World that both the Nunh and some of their spear-sisters have been making such a big deal about.
