Per lore, only 5~6 years have passed since the Calamity and the end of the Sixth Astral Era.
Obviously, that's hard to swallow when you've been doing 4+ years of RP. So a lot of people go by real time passage. But ultimately, it's up to you and your RP circle how to deal with time passage.
