I'm currently playing beta on PS3. For now, I don't have a PC that can run the game, but when I do I'll be playing on both PC and PS3.

It's not quite as good as a very good PC, but it's very manageable with only a few minor drawbacks. First, it doesn't look as pretty, but that's to be expected from a console that's nearly 7 years old. Second, load times when zoning or loading players/NPCs when you get near them is noticeably slower, but not horrible. Characters will usually load after a few seconds. Third is the draw distance. Normally it's not an issue, you can see monsters and your party members just fine, but if you're in a group of 50 people crammed together it can't display them all. There's also occasionally some skill visual animation lag, but the effect of the skills doesn't lag. For example, when using a weapon skill on my archer, my character would stand there, the monster would take damage just as it should in the right amount of time, then my character would fire the shot visually. It really had no effect on my gameplay but it looks funny. Also, PS3 cannot currently take screenshots, but they will be adding that in in the future.

It's unlike anything else I've used, so it definitely has a bit of a learning curve. You can't have as many skills on screen at once as you can on PC, but you can quickly swap between multiple bars, so it takes a little practice to get used to it. Once you're used to it, it works very well.
