I have two legacy 1.0 characters, both fairly high leveled (one is 50 MRD/WAR and the other 30 THM because I didn't get to play him much before I ran out of time and money to play >: ) but only one is going to be an actual Warrior of Light, and she is most definitely not going to be proclaiming it to the world anytime soon. If anything she'd rather forget the whole thing, given the giant mess it's made for her.
I would also agree that Warriors of Light are not as rare as some would believe, as they are specifically adventurers who were at the battle of Carteneau and were sent forward in time by Louisoix. Since it is already established that all 1.0 characters, legacy or not, have the "mark" from being sent forward, it can be assumed that every adventurer PC that was at the battle was sent forward by the spell. I don't know about you, but that sounds like an awfully big number, even if not all of us 1.0 players are claiming our characters to be W's of L.
To Meine: I believe there is an option to turn your back tattoo off or on, so if you don't want your characters to be marked and flung forward through time then you can just turn the tattoo off and never have to worry about it. That's what I'm doing for my character that wasn't at the battle but is still a 1.0 character, just turning the tattoo off and acting like it never happened.
I'm not even going to touch the memory issue. I've already said my ideas on the thing in other threads, but everyone has their own theories and until SE gives us something more concrete, we're pretty much just grasping at straws.
