Pale Moon be me father, we get along well. Gets his name frombein’ born paler than most Hellsguard on a late night. He be the part o’ the clan that keeps a-watchin’ to make sure souls don’t be strayin’ from the underworld. The work ‘s pretty serious, part o’ an ancient tradition we hold. He be pretty disappointed that I didn’t want a part o’ it – ‘s boring, ya know? – but he be understandin’ what I want. He be a real amazin’ black mage, one o’ the best in our clan!
Yellow Oak be me mum, we don’t get along at all so I aint’ betalkin’ ‘bout her.

5.Where do you live now, and withwhom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Live on me own in Ul’dah. Got a small innroom at the Quicksand. Don’t live with no one so far, ‘s nice just livin’ on me own though, I don’t mind.
6.What is your occupation?
Freelance for the most part. I do dockwork in Limsa Lominsa, bodyguard duty for what be left o’ them nobles in Ul’dah, and I guard caravans going through the Shroud to Gridania. Just been accepted to the Immortal Flames, so ‘s more of a steady job.
Â
7.Write a full physical description ofyourself. You might want to consider factors such as:
I’m ‘bout seven fulms one ilm, but youain’t be needin’ me weight! I’m a Hellsguard Roegadyn, if ya can’t tell. Get me sun bleached hair from me father, the darker bits from me mum. I like keepin’ it short, don’t need it gettin’ in the way o’ me fighting or when I’m a-cookin’. Burnt me hair once… eh, don’t ask about that, yeah? ‘S wavy, sort o’ curls at the ends, but I just brush it back and let me bangs hang. Me eyes match me hair, like pale gil. I dress accordin’ to what needs to be done for the day, but for fun just me casual shirt and pants, thigh-high boots and maybe a bit o’ jewelry if I want to impress someone. Got a scar on me forehead from when I was bein’ too overzealous with my workload, box nicked me right in the head. Also got a burn on me right leg, nasty thing, don’t feel like talkin’ ‘bout it, so don’t ask.
8.To which social class do you belong?
By Ul’dah standards, probably poor as thembeggars on the strip! In Farreach, we were considered nobility due to me parents status in the clan. On me own, s’pose I be doin’ well, so I say middle class. Least I got a job, yeah? And a legal one too!
9.Do you have any allergies, diseases, orother physical weaknesses?
I’m allergic to most anything with seafoodin it – ‘s the main reason why I made me home in Ul’dah not Limsa Lominsa. Shame really, ‘cause they got some o’ the best ale… anyway. My face goes and blows up all puffy if I eat ‘em. And I ain’t tellin’ you my physical disabilities! What d’you take me for, a fool? I got ‘em, I’m only mortal, ‘n that’s all you need to be knowin’.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Both! Handy ain’t it?
11. What does your voice sound like?
Kinda rough, I s’pose, but with a femininetouch to it. I like it. It ain’t no singin’ voice, but it’s good fer yellin’!
12. What words and/or phrases do you usevery frequently?
I tend to call people I don’t know well“strangerâ€, and if ya don’t give me your name I’m gonna keep on callin’ you stranger.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Why, you lookin’ to snatch somethin’ youlittle thief?
14. Do you have any quirks, strangemannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I bite me nails and lips for differentreasons. I tend to hum when I work. Don’t get me started on things I absolutely love – you ain’t gonna shut me up anytime soon. I’m a bit touchy, even with strangers, sometimes it offends people, but I promise ‘s only friendly-like! If I’m upset ‘bout somethin’ sometimes I use me home tongue.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhoodin general?
Boring. Had to learn the clan ways andsuch, but I ain’t got affinity for aether nor an attention span for learnin’ magic. But I s’pose I should call it lucky too; me family was considered part of nobility in the clan ‘cause o’ what me parents do so we was pretty well off.
16. What is your earliest memory?
A big red tree right in the middle o’ ourencampment. Ain’t too many trees up in the mountains, but I was born under that phenomenal thing. ‘S where I get me name.
17. How much schooling have you had?
I had the required schoolin’ for learnin’magic, but I ain’t paid one gil of attention. Went to a different clan ‘round Farreach to get schoolin’ for a warrior. Learned sloppy Eorzean from some o’ the older Roegadyns who did the tradin’ with them cities. Didn’t learn how to read and me writin’ is kinda… ugly.
18. Did you enjoy school?
Depends. Me mum’s schoolin’ – no.Schoolin’ from the other clan – absolutely! Learnin’ Eorzean was sorta tough, but I can’t imagine what lookin’ at Roegadyn tongue outside the clans s’like.
19. Where did you learn most of yourskills and other abilities?
I learned my useful skills mostly from a loony hermit up in the most northernpart o’ the Spine. ‘S where most o’ them warrior clans learn their craft, then they teach it to the young’uns or the few crazy folks who dare to travel up in our mountains lookin’ for training. Went by Moenbraena – think that translates to Moon Breaker? On account he goes and tells young’uns he once broke one o’ them moons and that’s why we got one less. Like I says, a loony hermit.
20. While growing up, did you have anyrole models? If so, describe them.
Nope!
21. While growing up, how did you getalong with the other members of your family?
I got along with me father pretty well –we did have a few squabbles but we’re damn stubborn ‘bout some things. He tried to be supportive knowin’ I ain’t interested in the family culture. Ain’t talkin’ ‘bout me mum, already told ya that. Got an uncle on me father’s side who trades with a group of other Hellsguard, we’re more like best friends than anything else. Don’t see too much of ‘im lately.
22. As a child, what did you want to bewhen you grew up?
Wasn’t nothin’ specific ‘til I got older, but when I was a young’un just wanted to be whatever was fun. And watchin’ a smokin’ mountain to make sure them spirit don’t run off ain’t fun. I favor the fighting style of a warrior though, it grew on me as sort of ‘n official sorta occupation.
23. As a child, what were your favoriteactivities?
Don’t laugh, but I really liked learnin’ –wished I could’ve learned more! Like readin’, bet that’s fun. All our stories are verbal. On a less borin’ answer, really loved hunting. Wasn’t too good at it, ain’t quiet enough, but was fun all the same!
24. As a child, what kinds of personalitytraits did you display?
Me mum would say rebellious, and I s’poseI’d agree with her. Sorta angry child, wanted to do what I wanted, maybe a bit selfish too.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
Ain’t no popularity contest up in themmountains, but I had more friends in the neighboring clan further north than I did in me own. Loved makin’ friends, was easy fer me to run up to strangers. Had a handful or two before I left, they was real friendly, supportive, good group o’ people to joke with. But they like it up in them mountains.
26. When and with whom was your firstkiss?
I think that term you use is don’t kiss ‘ntell, yeah?
27. Are you a virgin? If not, whenand with whom did you lose your virginity?
I ain’t, and I ain’t tellin’ you nothin’ya pervert.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e.mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
We got three main clans up in themmountains that we consider family – there are more, but them three are what I consider family. We got my clan o’ mages, we got me favorite clan o’ warriors, then we got o’ clan of traders – them traders influenced me to migrate and try n’ find me own place in the world. They taught me how to speak Eorzean, translated me name so s’easier to say, and educated me on as much as they knew ‘bout them capital cities and how they work and such. I do what they do – freelance – and I keep up with me warrior studies. Even got caught up in another study – fightin’ with me fists! Who knew there was a special technique fer punchin’ people?
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the mostimportant event of your life so far?
Migratin’ away from home. ‘S emotional butfreein’ at the same time. Ain’t no memory more important than hoppin’ on that caravan and recitin’ why I was doin’ it.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Me uncle – Ahldberk. Think that means OldRock or Mountain.
31. What do you consider your greatestachievement?
Makin’ a livin’ on me own. To tell you thetruth, I didn’t think I was gonna do so well on me own, but you’d be surprised who’s gonna ask ya to be mean n’ scary lookin’ for a few bells and pay you for it!
32. What is your greatest regret?
Never sayin’ what I shoulda said before Ileft to someone.
33. What is the most evil thing you haveever done?
I insulted me mum in front o’ the clan.
34. Do you have a criminal record of anykind?
Absolutely not! Well… not on purpose.Ain’t my fault them caravans were runnin’ with illegal goods!
35. When was the time you were the mostfrightened?
First time I went head to head with themIxali in the Shroud. I only ever heard ‘bout them in stories from them traders, but up close they’re just… they’re terrifyin’. Like some crazy bird men and them noises they make – thought me blood rain cold as ice.
36. What is the most embarrassing thingever to happen to you?
I tried to impress a girl once while I wastrainin’ and I was lookin’ at her and swung me axe into me trainer’s thigh. Ain’t missin’ it! He was wearin’ armor, but there’s a nasty knick. Young love’ll make ya do some cursed stupid things, yeah?
37. If you could change one thing fromyour past, what would it be, and why?
No, don’t believe in none o’ that. What’sdone ‘s set in stone and not even them Twelve can change it – ‘s a rule I live by.
38. What is your best memory?
Swingin’ me axe for the first time! Wasexhilarating! Threw it into a valley and had to go n’ retrieve it least I had to make another one, but first time I felt I weren’t completely useless since I couldn’t do nothin’ me own clan could do.
39. What is your worst memory?
Sure most could sympathize, but that fallof that moon, Dalamud. I weren’t in the war or nothin’, spent me time in Limsa Lominsa watchin’ that red calamity. I ain’t fearin’ it, death ain’t somethin’ you should be fearin’, but leavin’ things unsaid ain’t a way to leave a world.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic orpessimistic?
Optimistic! Can’t be livin’ life thinkin’yer ale’s half empty – that thought’s just depressin’.
41. What is your greatest fear?
…Tonberry…
42. What are your religious views?
I live by Nald’Thal n’ generally theTwelve. We also have a clan story ‘bout where we three families originated. ‘S a long one though, maybe fer another time.
43. What are your political views?
Oi, oi. Don’t wanna get into that, ‘sirritatin’ and I honestly don’t care one way or another, long as them Garleans stay on their side o’ Eorzea. Don’t want nothin’ to do with them metal men.
44. What are your views on sex?
What kinda views is there? You have it oryou don’t, you want it or you don’t. Simple ‘s that.
45. Are you able to kill? Under whatcircumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
People? No, never been able to make thatkillin’ blow. When bandits come a-runnin’ to the caravan, I usually knock ‘em out cold, tie ‘em up, and bring ‘em to the nearest place o’ servin’ justice. Ain’t my place to kill another, I ain’t no law judgin’ ruffian. I don’t find killin’ people acceptable, unless they’re them metal men Garleans. Don’t got a problem killin’ Beastmen though.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evilthing any human being could do?
Kill a person. Ain’t your right, far as I see it ‘s the Twelve’sduty.
47. Do you believe in the existence ofsoul mates and/or true love?
Never really pondered that… s’pose so. Iain’t felt it, but I ain’t ever met everyone in the world so can’t say it ain’t a real thing neither.
48. What do you believe makes a successfullife?
Enjoyin’ what you do! Don’t like thething, don’t do it – simple.
49. How honest are you about your thoughtsand feelings?
I ain’t always honest, but who is? I tryto be pretty forward, least I go runnin’ circles ‘round someone without meanin’ to, you know? But for them moments where somethin’ personal comes up – I tend to hide it. It ain’t hurtin’ no one if it’s personal, no one knows it but me.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
I used to think them Elezen was a stuck upbunch, but I met them snotty nobles in Ul’dah first. I got loads in common with them Elezen in Gridania. Migratin’ was difficult in the beginnin’, but ‘s long as you’re honest don’t see nothin’ wrong with you. Course that only goes fer race n’ personal business n’ such. If you’re a jerk I ain’t gonna like you.
51. Is there anything you absolutelyrefuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Alchemy – culture rule. Never questionedit too much at home, but when I saw it for me own eyes I can see why it ain’t good. Turnin’ things into other things ain’t natural, you’re messin’ with the balance o’ things!
52. Who or what, if anything, would youdie for?
Comrades, close friends, loved ones – loyalty goes a long way inme home clans. If you earned a loyalty of one of us, you be bettin’ on havin’ me at yer back no matter the danger.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others? Doesyour treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
I’m a generally friendly person I think, love meetin’ new people! Now o’ course their own attitude s’gonna change how I treat them afterwards. Sorta try to gauge them nobles real well, sometimes they’re a bunch o’ lazy good fer nothin’s who wouldn’t know a good day’s work if it nipped them in the arse, but then you got them hard workin’ nobles – I like workin’ for them. I get sort of embarrassed ‘round them academic types – ain’t too educated in readin’ and I don’t wanna be makin’ a fool o’ me self ‘round them. Best type o’ people to be comfortable ‘round are those who enjoy a good hearty drink! Light o’ me life you all are, rest assured.
54. Who is the most important person inyour life, and why?
Me uncle and me father. They were the mostsupportive when I didn’t take up them family traditions of watchin’ them smoky mountains. More people I meet, I’m sure this list’ll grow real quick.
55. Who is the person you respect themost, and why?
Moenbraena – you remember the ol’ loon Italked about sayin’ he broke a moon. He sorta guided me to where I am now, opened me eyes and guided me to where I’d be most successful.
56. Who are your friends? Do youhave a best friend? Describe these people.
So far I’ve been meetin’ a whole gaggle o’people. Can’t say if I got a best friend yet or not, but I got some friends rest assured. There be one, Zerayya, she’s real friendly and cute and – ah. Um. Well, we talk lots, have a real fun time, and she says she’ll teach me how to read too! She owns a bookstore in Limsa Lominsa – says she got books that explode, can you believe that?
Then there’s Wynn – he’s a Roegadyn – sayshe owns a ranch! Kinda quiet, don’t talk much but he’s fun to hold conversation with when he get’s a-goin’. He had a Miqo’te taggin’ ‘long with him when I met Wynn, and his name was Shiro. Extra quiet. Ain’t a stranger since I know his name, but don’t know much more ‘bout him… gonna see if I can’t buy him a drink!
I met a noble too, Kannadi. She’s a writero’ sorts, wrote two books that I gotta read once I know how. They sound interestin’. She ain’t like them lazy nobles, she’s hard working. A little… reserved? I think that’s the word I’m lookin’ for. But she’s nice, I like her too.
Met a Hyur named Zin Jaeger and his quietfriend Kiyone. Zin made friendly with me real quick, went a got us a whole barrel o’ ale. And it was imported from Costa Del Sol! Though he was gettin’ mighty drunk when we started beginnin’ the event we was at. Lost him and Kiyone runnin’ ‘bout – hope they didn’t get too hurt. Sure this list’ll be growin’ too.
57. Do you have a spouse or significantother? If so, describe this person.
Nope! But I did earn me self a kiss. Oi,don’t ask, next question!
58. Have you ever been in love? Ifso, describe what happened.
Nope!
59. What do you look for in a potentiallover?
S’pose we gotta have things in common, can’t just be notenjoyin’ each other’s company. Gotta go out and have fun! Can’t be doin’ nothin’ illegal neither, gotta be absolutely honest. I don’t take well to dishonesty after I be givin’ out me loyalty. ‘S a big offense back where I’m from. Ain’t no gender requirement, what else… eh, you just sorta know when it’s a thing, you know?
60. How close are you to your family?
Not very. Haven’t talked to them fer…seven years? Wow, never actually thought back n’ counted.
61. Have you started your ownfamily? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
No, it ain’t really somethin’ I’m keen onright now. I’m young, gotta go out and do things! Family things can wait.
62. Who would you turn to if you were indesperate need of help?
I like bein’ independent, I have a hardtime askin’ others fer help – and I ain’t stubborn!
63. Do you trust anyone to protectyou? Who, and why?
I like bein’ more of a protector than theother way ‘round. When I was younger, me father used to protect me, so if I was still with me home clan, guess I’d say me father. Otherwise, I’d like to be doin’ the protectin’.
64. If you died or went missing, who wouldmiss you?
I’m sure me home clans and family alreadybe missin’ me, but perhaps the new friends I’ve made too?
65. Who is the person you despise themost, and why?
I ain’t gettin’ in to that, it’s personaland none of yer business.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, oravoid conflict?
Since I migrated, I try to avoid conflict, but… yeah, alright, I s’pose I’m stubborn and sometimes I just gotta get me point across. Haven’t really been in a heated argument since me mum though.
67. Do you tend to take on leadershiproles in social situations?
Sorta depends on the situation. If I’masked, I probably would should I be in fit condition to do what I’m bein’ asked. Mostly I’ll be too engaged in lookin’ at things to be speakin’ up if I ain’t spoken to. If things be gettin’ out o’ hand, I do try to speak up n’ settle it down – I do that as a job sometimes.
68. Do you like interacting with largegroups of people? Why or why not?
Sure do! More people, the merrier! Ourhome clans were small, rarely more than ten to each three, so seein’ lots o’ different people in one place just gets me all excited.
69. Do you care what others think of you?
S’pose that depends. If it’s someone I’llbe lookin’ to impress, I’ll admit to showin’ off a bit more than usual. Otherwise, you can kiss me fist.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies andpastimes?
Gambling. Used to be a problem back home, but not so much anymore… well, I think we can all agree that Ul’dah ain’t the best place for best decisions? I also love to cook – don’t do much fer other people, but that don’t mean I ain’t willin’ to!

The first axe I ever crafted up inFarreach – little dinky thing, can’t use it now, but I keep it in on me wall in the inn.

Red. What? I ain’t biased!
73. What is your favorite food?

A bar, good Costa Del Sol ale, music, andgood company!

I drink, but it ain’t a problem. Gamblin’might be, I ain’t got the time for that lately.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturdaynight?
Workin’, but lately I’ve been catchin’these amazin’ events I see on flashy posters!
78. What makes you laugh?
Crude jokes – I’m a real sucker for ‘em.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offendsyou?
Anythin’ rude said towards me home clan orme culture. Don’t know if I’m much for shockin’ though. Them Ixali did throw me when I first saw them though.
80. What would you do if you had insomniaand had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
Readin’, if I could, or go out and run thestreets of Ul’dah. I like me late-night and mornin’ runs.
81. How do you deal with stress?
I run. Tricked ya, hm? Thought I’d saydrinkin’ – I try to put drinkin’ with positive things. Runnin’ helps take away them negatives. It also ain’t hurtin’ no one and means I can catch up to them bad guys quicker!

‘Side from work plans and the usualmornin’ run, I just like to go with wherever my feet be takin’ me.

84. Describe the routine of a normal dayfor you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
I run two loops ‘round Ul’dah, cook mebreakfast, eat, and head off to wherever me freelance linkshell be needin’ me. Ain’t too much of a plan for work, I go where I’m needed and work ‘til we finished. When I ain’t needed, I explorin’, pickin’ a few small jobs up at the Quicksand, or brush up on me skills. I ain’t much for plannin’ ahead.

I like to think it be loyalty. I might beso loyal I’d be almost annoyin’.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
Failin’ someone you ain’t s’pose to fail. I can fail me self allday, ain’t no one else be disappointed. Ain’t nothin’ worse than havin’ someone look you in the eye and sense failure.
87. If you could change one thing aboutyourself, what would it be?
I said this already – ‘s set in stone, don’t be changin’nothin’. ‘Sides, who wouldn’t love me the way I already am? That’s a joke, seriously.
88. Are you generally introverted orextroverted?
I s’pose more so extroverted.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
I’m organized with me material items, don’t need to be losin’ them. Messy all elsewhere.
90. Name three things you consideryourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
I like to pride me self with me diligence,me skills as a warrior, and me drinkin’! Don’t particularly like namin’ out me flaws fer everyone, but we all got ‘em. Readin’, swimmin’ – and don’t be askin’ to teach me, I ain’t swimmin’ ever – and bein’ intuitive. Sometimes I can just be loud and brash.
91. Do you like yourself?
Well o’ course! No one does things like mebetter than me!
92. What are your reasons for being anadventurer? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public?
‘S the main reason I’d been leavin’ mehome clan. Nothin’ to see, nothin’ to do, just big smoky mountains, keepin’ to yer duties, and family. And it ain’t bad, family ain’t ever a bad thing, but ‘s borin’ if you can’t take the world you was given and see it all. Sometimes I wish I could’a taken me family with me, though me mum would hate it I’m sure. I want to mold me self to an entire world, not just me little part in them mountains. I don’t tend to be tellin’ that to everyone though so keep it to yourself, yeah? I just be tellin’ people I like me self a good ol’ fashion rumble into the unknown.
93. What goal do you most want toaccomplish in your lifetime?
Seein’ and doin’ everything! ‘S probablyimpossible, but I can try, yeah?

Hopefully with a house o’ me own, a placefor me self in the Immortal Flames, and a group of comrade to call a new family.
95. If you could choose, how would youwant to die?
Without guilt and unfinished businessweighin’ on me shoulders. Otherwise, I don’t too much care. Could be eaten fer all I care – probably don’t taste too good.
96. If you knew you were going to die in24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
What? Oh well, I’d be lettin’ everyoneclose to me know I’d be goin’, probably bury all me things – what? They’re my things! Then make one last trek to Farreach and settle some unfinished things.
97. What is the one thing for which youwould most like to be remembered after your death?
My loyalty, comradery, me drinkin – no,maybe not that one. Actually, I don’t feel like I’d be carin’, s’long as you remember me.
98. What three words best describe yourpersonality?
Beneficence, optimistic, n’ engagin’!
99. What three words would others probablyuse to describe you?
Loud, maybe outgoing? And, um… fun? LeastI’d hope as much.
100. If you could, what advice would you,the player, give to your character?Â
Okay so listen. Quit holding the grudgesand get your butt up to Farreach, what the heck are you doing? Bahamut pretty much torches the place and you aren’t worry that everything might be in ruins? Girl, wake up and get your bum up out of that hole of self pity and march up there as soon as the content is available! Also, you are kind of a terrible merchant. And don’t touch the things that look like no one is ever suppose to touch them, like if anything let someone else do the touching, and if nothing happens then touch it, but don’t initiate the touching, hands in your pockets like kindergarten style, you feel me? Okay, now go have fun crushing your enemies like sparrow eggs between your thighs~!Â
1.Whatis your full name?

The Farreach. Fifteen fifty-three on theSecond Sun o’ the Third Astral Moon.
3.Who are/were your parents?Â

He be pretty disappointed that I didn’t want a part o’ it – ‘s boring, ya know? – but he be understandin’ what I want. He be a real amazin’ black mage, one o’ the best in our clan!

71. What is your most treasured possession?
The first axe I ever crafted up inFarreach – little dinky thing, can’t use it now, but I keep it in on me wall in the inn.
72. What is your favorite color?
Red. What? I ain’t biased!
73. What is your favorite food?
Can I say ale? No? Well I s’pose I’m aglutton for spiced pastries.
74. What, if anything, do you like toread?
I’d love to read everythin’ anyone’s gotto offer once I learn how.
75. What is your idea of goodentertainment?
A bar, good Costa Del Sol ale, music, andgood company!
76. Do you smoke, drink, or usedrugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you alwaysneed to have a plan?
‘Side from work plans and the usualmornin’ run, I just like to go with wherever my feet be takin’ me.
83. What are your pet peeves?
Rude people. Oi, ain’t nothin’ worse than unnecessary rudeness. And people ain’t bein’ tolerant of other people’s personal business. And alchemy – though I ain’t gonna pester people fer that.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
85. What is your greatest strength as aperson?
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
