"My mum's name is A'ruija. She was Quartermaster on the Alacritie. She did her best with me. My father's name is M'akeda. Aye, I didn't get his name for my surname, but my grandfather's instead. Mum had enough reminders of him with my just being around. Only recently has his name even mattered. Occupation: gambler, liar, and professional piece of chocoshite."

"Aye, apparently I have a brother. Well, half-brother. He's ah.. quiet? Shy. Naïve, I suppose, but smart. He didn't get out of the forest much. We're very different."

"I'm supposed to be staying at Gerik's home in Ul'dah with K'aworu. I don't know when we're goin' back, though."

"I was a dancer, a lieutenant somehow, a craftsman, and an 'adventurer,' whatever that means to most people."

"I'm a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te. My hair is curly and obnoxious, but I keep it short. It's blonde. One of my eyes is blue and the other is brown, and the comments I usually get about them ain't nice so I'd prefer you don't say anything. I've markings on my cheeks too. They're not tattoos, they've always been there. I don't like tattoos much, so I don't have any. I don't really have any bad scars other than one on my stomach. I don't know if it's going to go away.. it's not as bad as it was though, so maybe it will sometime. Let's see.. I'm short, I think. Even around other Miqo'te. Mum's got a few ilms on me so I'll blame my father for that. 's probably why K'aworu is so short too. Ah, I don't eat enough sometimes, so I'm a bit on the skinny side. And compared to most ladies I am.. smaller. I usually make my own clothes, because I know how I like to wear them. I don't like armour, it's really heavy and I can't move very well in it. And.. mum pierced my ears when I was a baby. ..That's about it."

"Not really. I don't think anyone is immune to funguar dust. Er, spores. Whatever they are.. Those are awful. But either way, I ain't incredibly strong and I do get sick sometimes."

"I can write with both, though it's nothing useful it's fun to see peoples' reactions. But I am right-handed with my bow."

"You tell me? It sounds like my voice to me. I suppose I don't sound like a little girl."

"I'm not sure really. 'Aye,' maybe?"

"String, some flint stones, a wind shard.. I've a knife too, usually, but it don't fit in these pockets."

"Probably, but they're not quirks to me. It's just how I am. If I have to come up with something, I guess I'll say I don't like to be touched. And I don't like having nothing to do. I've also been told I say too much sometimes, or say things wrong. Not in those words, maybe.. but that's what they mean. If people find my habits annoying, I ain't forcing them to stay around me.."

"Lacking, but alright."

"Getting sea-sick one night in my hammock. It was stormy so the waves were high. That rarely happened, but I remember it when it did."

"My mum taught me to read and write and other things that her mum and dad probably taught her."

"I didn't go to school."
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
"My mum and the crew. I just got better at things they taught me once I was out on my own. Except magic. I figured that out on my own."

"I resented my mum a lot, for selfish reasons. We're alright now though. Or were, before the battle. I don't know where she is now."

"Fishing and swimming and dancing."

"I was popular with the crew. I was the only kid. They took care of me. I was like everyone's little sister but I didn't have friends. I sort of made friends with the girls who taught me to dance, but they were much older than me."

"Leaving the Alacritie."

"Runek, unfortunately. That's not really fair though, to give him all the credit. My mum and the crew influenced me too, but for the better."

"Asking Selene to come with me."

"I.. well, I'm not sure this is evil but.. maybe it is. I don't know anymore. A year ago it would've been to me. So.. for many suns I went to Iron Lake and perched myself up on a cliff near where the Imperials were at. I killed a lot of them. I don't like to think about it anymore, but I can't say I wouldn't do it again.."

"Technically I was wanted for questioning by the Blades for a time because of some bloody contracts with the House Mavanix. I think they've solved that whole mess though."
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
"I've had some pretty awful dreams lately. Somehow they're worse than what was real."
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
"When that girl at the Concern pointed at me as I was changing.. Twelve, that was bad."

"I can't, so it's pointless to think about. I'm sick of what-ifs. What if this had been different. What if this hadn't happened. What if this had. I regret things and I try not to entertain what-ifs. I know I can't change what's happened."

"Memories with the friends I have had over the last couple years. I can't name one."

"A normal day.. let's say before I started taking my hunting trips to Iron Lake. Before I moved to Limsa Lominsa, even. So I guess this'd be an ideal normal day, not just a normal day. I'd wake up wherever I'd camped the night before out in Thanalan. I'd have breakfast. Probably fruit, or nuts. I can usually find those pretty easy. I'd head back to Ul'dah for a leve, or I'd go work on my map. Fish for lunch, hopefully not crayfish. I still catch those a lot in Thanalan. I don't like them. Maybe I'd run into a friend in the afternoon, or I'd practice my weaving, or another leve so I could buy bread to have with my dinner. Some evenings I'd end up on an adventure in some deep abandoned ruin I'd never been to before with others. Some I'd end up at the Concern. Others the carptenter's guild to visit the kids. Wherever I felt like going. I'd sleep under the stars, or in the mouth of a cave. These suns I don't have such a routine, so you tell me how I'm handling it being disrupted.."

"I think I'm a good friend to people who give me a chance."

"I tend not to outright despise people."

"I tend not to be in many social situations where my leadership would be needed.."

"No. It makes me uncomfortable."

"I like to fish, and add to the maps I bought a couple years ago. They're basic, and I like to note what I find upon them. And dance. I feel like I've said that enough times though."

"This ribbon. Selene gave it to me."

"I like red."

"Yugr'am Salmon."

"I don't read much. Stories, I suppose. Fiction."

"I do like listening to music, but I like to listen to people talk more."

"I drink, because I like it and it helps me sleep. Why would I quit?"

"There are no such thing as typical nights anymore. I used to just like working on some weaving, or fishing, or sitting with Selene and the others."

"Funny things. Ah, specifically? Other people laughing makes me laugh sometimes too."

"The usual. Rape, abuse, murder, all those terrible things. Come on.."
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
"Have some rum and practice my carving."
81. How do you deal with stress?
"I don't. It's bad."
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
"Spontaneous."

"Being expected to respect someone who has not earned it, being forced to do things.. Those are pretty normal pet peeves though aye?"
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
"A normal day.. let's say before I started taking my hunting trips to Iron Lake. Before I moved to Limsa Lominsa, even. So I guess this'd be an ideal normal day, not just a normal day. I'd wake up wherever I'd camped the night before out in Thanalan. I'd have breakfast. Probably fruit, or nuts. I can usually find those pretty easy. I'd head back to Ul'dah for a leve, or I'd go work on my map. Fish for lunch, hopefully not crayfish. I still catch those a lot in Thanalan. I don't like them. Maybe I'd run into a friend in the afternoon, or I'd practice my weaving, or another leve so I could buy bread to have with my dinner. Some evenings I'd end up on an adventure in some deep abandoned ruin I'd never been to before with others. Some I'd end up at the Concern. Others the carptenter's guild to visit the kids. Wherever I felt like going. I'd sleep under the stars, or in the mouth of a cave. These suns I don't have such a routine, so you tell me how I'm handling it being disrupted.."
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
"I think I'm a good friend to people who give me a chance."
86. What is your greatest weakness?
"I don't have much patience."
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
"I'd like to be a bit taller.."

"Introverted."

"Some'd call me messy, but I took care of my things."

"I'm good at shooting my bow, listening, and dancing. I'm not good at cooking, nor navigating, nor dealing with.. things."

"Sometimes."
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons…)
"I like the freedom and the thrill. I like to go where I want to go when I want to go there. I like to see new things and make my own way. And I'm not sure, I've never been asked before."
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
"I rather want to help win this war this time around."
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
"Funny thing about five years.."
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
"I already chose once, this time I will let the Spinner decide, as she apparently has different plans for me."
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
"I didn't drink, I didn't go find company for the evening, I didn't cry.. I had dinner, slept rather well, and sent my chocobo away."
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
"I'd just like to be remembered at all."
98. What three words best describe your personality?
"Didn't we already cover somethin' like this? Maybe not. Well.. honest, stubborn, and.. a bit simple."
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
"I've heard a few of 'em. They're the kind of words mum doesn't like me to use."
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice…)
