It's really solid and you can tell that you've really given it some thought. I'd like to know even more about the character, personality wise, but other than that, the concept and general history path is really strong. Not an idea I expect to see much of. Do you intend to put a scar over (or as close to) his injured eye and use "odd eyes" to make it a different color (say... white or something of that nature) so show his damage and partial blindness?
