Jeris' embellishments to Linette's tale gets the first laugh out of Muin at the table. He's got a rough, almost callous laugh, at first blush but then as it grows on someone, there's a good-natured sort of undercurrent to it, too. The 'old man' in this party sure was sharp, though. He could see things that went unsaid.
