As I come closer to finishing up the basics of the linkshell section on the main site, I now have to look toward the lore section. The lore section is intended to be a wiki based largely on the data compiled in the Library section of the forums.
I did start designing it about a month ago but it hasn’t really gone anywhere since then. Obviously, it would look MUCH better before being officially launched.
Here’s the issue. I know that some linkshells are also creating wikis but I’m not sure exactly what specific direction, if any, these groups are going in. I know TALE will be having a wiki for lore. Stormguard had mentioned creating a wiki, though I’m not sure how extensive they plan to be. In addition, AETHER is doing their encyclopedia project.
So I’m hoping these groups (and any others I missed) can come in and explain a little bit about their wikis. The last thing I want to do is put a ton of effort into something that ends up being insanely redundant. Hopefully we can work out how to establish the lore section in a way that's satisfactory to everyone.
