In that case, a guild of sorts seems it would take too much work. So perhaps it's best to revert to the original idea? Everyone who is familiar with this topic can easily be a free-lance courier. If you hear someone looking for one and you're up for it then feel free to take part. I myself will likely try to pay actual gil but I'll see how it goes ^^
