L'yhta laughed and nodded quickly. "Oh, yes, they're very formal and very interested in people with talent." She grinned before adding, "I can't really blame them, because it's a religious obligation, almost, to them and from what I've heard it's -- keeping the elementals happy, I mean -- important to keeping Gridania safe.
"It's still funny sometimes, though, at least to me."
She lifted her stein to her lips, quirked a brow as she suddenly noticed it was empty, then set it to one side and waved towards the barkeep. "Have you thought about Arcana or Thaumaturgy at all? I mean, if magical talent runs in your family, you might want to try your hand at all the Disciplines of Magic. I mean, I'm not recruiting for those guilds or anything."
