I have been a lurker for a while.. I just made a post somewhere else so I thought I'd make a formal introduction.
My character name was previously Ruok Mphemala, a Lalafell botanist on Gungnir. Come ARR, I will be playing a Roegadyn female, Murlona Moermoenwyn on Hyperion. I'm not new to roleplaying, but it's been a while since I was really into it. A close friend of mine started making his character a story and "life," so I figured I'd dust off my old RP skills and add myself another layer to FFXIV.
--MMORPG background
FFXI for 8+ years. Alahsiedra on (what once was) Titan. I'm (maybe?) known for having the only Tupsimati, the Scholar Mythic Weapon.
FFXIV since first alpha.
Ragnarok Online
--RP experience
AOL Chatroom RP as far as the eye can see.. I've been roleplaying with original characters in storylines for at least 16 years.
--Character ideas/info
I'm working on Murlona ._. I had something goin' but I realized I was moving really far away from what I felt my character was. I was ignoring key parts of my character that I was proud of in v1.0 and I don't want to do that. I'd rather build on what my Lalafell was.. at four times the height.. and with more murderous tendencies.
--How did you learn about the coalition?

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
Light, probably.. I wanted to create a story to add another level of escapism from reality for my character. I RP'd lightly in FFXI and it made me really enjoy my character all the more.
