Once Faydrel was happy with what she witnessed of both the vessel and crew she strolled over toward the railing of the ship where the other dark haired Hyur was looking at something over the side. Out of mild curiosity she took a gander and noted the other rowboat with two passengers aboard, a large man rowing and little Miqo'te who looked quite miffed about something before attempting to plead for passage aboard their ship. "Well that's not cute." Faydrel mumbled more to herself than towards the man she had heard introduce himself as Desmond. As she leaned upon the railing the exchange of words continued and she watched in amusement as the Miqo'te girl had even threatened the oarsman with the point of her arrow. "Hm, cuter." Faydrel conceded with a small shrug of her shoulders before she finally pushed away from the railing.
In a few short moments the Miqo'te found herself aboard the Phoenix Flame and flashing Dezzy a grateful smile. Faydrel immediately resisted the urge to nudge the other Hyur and give some lewd comment, she had already flustered the poor boy earlier she may as well cut him some slack. Instead her attention was focused back onto the Captain and crew as they came alive as everyone moved fluidly across the deck and set the sails. Cerulean eyes only strayed once from the crew and towards the disgruntled Roegadyn on the docks. One last cheap shot towards the man that seemed to throw him into a further frenzy. Honestly she was surprised that the giant hadn't thrown himself into the water and started swimming towards them in his rage. Faydrel offered up a light and playful chuckle as she offered a small wave goodbye towards the docks.
A slight sea breeze played across her skin and hair and she absolutely reveled in it. Thank the twelve that they were actually on the move! Faydrel momentarily watched as the others began to get in line in front of the captain, of course it was Desmond first. She was starting to get the feeling he was one of those straight as an arrow sort of men. The nice and law abiding ones. And then he had to go and mention pirates. And suddenly a wave of uneasiness seemed to wash across the other passengers.
"Tsk..." She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she neared the line and caught a few snips of conversation. "I'd welcome a good pirate crew. They always have the best alcohol." Faydrel idly mentioned to the rest of the group in line as her eyes wandered over the crew and then back onto those in line. "Not to mention, they're usually fun." She quipped lightly with a shift of her pack at her side.
"Now those pirates with the sahagin and their serpent god... not so pleasant." She mused with a slight smirk as she eyed the Miqo'te in the heavy armor a moment before offering a small shrug. "But I'm sure the good captain here knows where to avoid them."
