Being present at such a momentous moment in history (and manipulating the magic used by Louisoux not only bends, but breaks lore completely, in my opinion. It's not a matter of filling in the cracks missing in lore at that point. Roleplaying is not the same as just writing. We work within the world someone else makes the rules for.
