I'll have to check out that uthgard site a bit, but that reminds me camelot unchained now. I am sure I will find my way to a private server or some sorts down the road also... after an adventure on FFXIV of course!

I have a theory that Mythic's success with DAoC was largely accidental. Â I am unable to explain in any other way how they could have done everything so right in classic, and caused the game to go so wrong, so fast, when the expansions began to roll in.

As for going back to DAoC, well... Sort of. Â Uthgard is a classic DAoC private server that is nearly identical to release, scrupulously run, and has a perfect stability track record of several years now. Â How they've dodged the law for so long isn't clear to me, but I'm sure it involves the server being located somewhere that does not give half a shit.
Ha, but we're all about to embark on a new adventure, aren't we? Â Not quite the time for looking back. Â Bookmark uthgard.net - it'll no doubt be around in a year or three, preserving DAoC in time exactly as we knew it.
