Funny note on that...

My best friend was doing that - Had left his character logged in while he was at work. He worked a 10 hour shift, and would periodically remote access into his computer at home to check if he was still logged in. He remained in and idle the entire shift.

He gets home, moves to sit down and somehow manages to kick his power cord, yanking it from his tower. Logging off in such a fashion left his character logged in, which mean that when his computer was back on, he couldn't log in. Cause he already was.Â
