1.What is your full name?
I am X'sol Tia. But Tia is not my name, it is a title denoting my station in the tribe.
2.Where and when were you born?
I was born in the village of the Lynx tribe at the western foot of the Coerthas mountain range, in the year 1555 of the Sixth Umbral Era.
3.Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father is X'loka Nunh, my mother is X'eos Nivis.
My father is a kind man with an even temper. Quick to laugh, slow to anger, and fair in all matters. I am quite fond of my father. He takes a particular interest in his sons, taking it upon himself to teach us how to become strong and clever, and he always takes great pleasure in regaling us with tales of his own youthful misfortunes and indiscretions.
My mother is a strong willed woman, with piercing eyes and a sharp tongue, but a gentle heart. She always puts the well-being of her children before anything else, but can at times be a bit idealistic in her opinion of us.
She loves coming up with witty insults, which are more often than not aimed at my father, and his seemingly carefree attitude.
4.Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I have two younger brothers. And as they are my younger brothers, naturally I can't stand them most of the time.
5.Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Currently, I reside in Limsa Lominsa. I recently left the village to learn about the world, and seek out new knowledge to bring back to the tribe.
6.What is your occupation?
I do whatever people pay me to do. Currently, the most lucrative work I've found is as a sell-sword, but I'm not what you would call married to any particular vocation.
7.Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Race: Miqo'te
Sex: Male
Height: 5 fulms and 7 ilm (170cm)
Weight: 155 ponz (70kg)
Hair Colour: Blue (Grey)
Eye Colour: Pale green
Style of Dress: Loose and casual
8.To which social class do you belong?
I am a Tia of the Lynx tribe. The oldest of only three Tia in my generation, the other two being my brothers.
9.Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Having grown up in the northern mountains, I am quite tolerant of cold. However, that also means I'm less tolerant of heat than most.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.
11. What does your voice sound like?
Baritone.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
To be honest, I haven't a clue. I can't exactly profess to having spent copious amounts of time analyzing my own speech patterns. Although I guess I do say "Fair enough" quite frequently.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Some gil, a notebook, a waterskin, a couple of apples, and a bottle of apple brandy... I like apples, what of it?
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I often treat serious matters with some degree of levity.
People sometimes misconstrue it as a lack of tact or delicacy, but that implies a lack of ability, rather than a choice.
If I'm being brutally honest, it is not because I do not know how to spare people's feelings. It is because I do not care about sparing their feelings. There's a subtle but significant difference.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Relaxed, carefree, indulgent.
There were no real expectations place on me. And I was free to learn and explore at my leisure. Good times...
16. What is your earliest memory?
When I was 4 cycles old my father had taken me upstream to see the wild chocobos living in the foothills to the north. My first memory is standing on a small hill, holding my father's hand, seeing the chocobos flee back into the dense mountain forest as a swarm of dragons came down from the western mountains, sweeping across the valley towards Ishgard.
It was an amazing sight.
17. How much schooling have you had?
Naturally, all the children in the village were taught how to hunt, and skin, and cook their prey.
My mother also taught me how to read and write, using the books that the others had brought back to the village from their trading voyages to Limsa Lominsa.
My father taught me how to fight, and how to listen to what people were actually saying, and not just what the words meant.
But I have not had any formal schooling.
18. Did you enjoy school?
I enjoyed learning. I enjoyed my parents complimenting me when I accomplished something I had previously failed at.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
My parents, mostly. Some things I figured out on my own, or from books. And some things I learned from the others in the tribe.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
It sounds a bit cliché saying it, but my father was my role model. He was strong and confident. Everyone in the tribe liked and respected him, even the Tia who occasionally challenged him harboured no ill will against him.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
We got along much like you'd expect.
We fought, we had fun together, we cried together, we laughed together. You know... A normal tribe.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
It's a bit embarassing, but I wanted to be a dragon.
Seeing the massive creatures flying so high above the ground, they looked invincible. And I wanted to be like that.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
I used to love to go fishing, playing hide and seek with the other children, and catching arbor squirrels and insects in the forest.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
That's a difficult question. Do children even have personality traits? Over-reliance on adults? Unquestioning trust in their parents? They're all pretty much the same. Except the evil ones who torture small animals, of course.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
I suppose I wasn't not popular. All the children in the tribe played together.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
It was with one of the girls sired by the Nunh prior to my father. I was 14 and she was 16 cycles old.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
Uhm, well... *Laughs* I don't kiss and tell.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
*Looks confused* What the bloody hell is a vampire?

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Right now. Leaving the tribe to explore the world. Most of the year in the village is spent either trying to make it through the winter, or preparing for the next one.
Being granted the opportunity to go out into the world to learn new things and find new tools or techniques that I can then bring back to the tribe, is something that could ease that burden significantly, and something that is an immensely important to me.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Hard to say, a person is the sum of everyone they've met, and every experience they've ever had.
So, I guess Hydaelyn has had the greatest influence on me.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I once stared down a coeurl. That's pretty impressive, right?
32. What is your greatest regret?
That's a stupid question. I try not to regret anything. Because if nothing else, I learned something from my mistakes. So I've lost something, and gained something else.
It's not like I can take it back, so what's the point in wasting my energy regretting it?
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Evil is relative.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
Not yet. *Chuckles*
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
The coeurl incident I mentioned before. It happened when I was 10 cycles old. Me and my brothers were out playing and a coeurl came down from the mountain.
I was off spearfishing in a river when I heard my brother scream. So I ran over, and the coeurl was closing in on them. There wasn't enough time to think, so I just jumped in between them and tried to look fierce, yelling and hissing at it.
The coeurl didn't seem very afraid, roaring at us, but I stood my ground. And when I took a step forward, roaring right back at it, it decided to back up and run away.
I guess it wasn't used to things that didn't flee from it, and didn't want to take any chances.
At the time though, I honestly thought we were all going to die.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Hmm, I'm debating whether or not I should tell you this... I guess it's fine.
I told you before about my first kiss. Well, truth is I really liked that girl, and this happened some time after that.
A bunch of us were sitting around talking, and I was trying to be suave and impress her. And I got up to leave, still very much trying my hardest, when I slipped and fell face first right into a big puddle of mud. Everyone was laughing at me. And I think she was laughing even harder than the others. It was humiliating.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
Maybe that one. Or maybe not. It was humiliating, sure, but because of it I did get to see her smile. And she was extraordinarily beautiful when she smiled.
38. What is your best memory?
*Smiles* That memory is for me alone.
39. What is your worst memory?
It's difficult to say. Bad memories make for great stories, so doesn't that make them pretty okay memories?

Part 4: Beliefs and Opinions

Spoiler
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Probably optimistic, but I try to also be realistic.
41. What is your greatest fear?
Being left behind.
42. What are your religious views?
Like most of my kin I worship Azeyma, the Goddess of inquiry.
43. What are your political views?
I think the best system is if everyone can be part of the decision making process.
44. What are your views on sex?
I'm all for it.
45. Are you able to kill? Â Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Of course. You kill when you have to. That's life.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any person could do?
Again, it's relative. To me, it's betraying those who trust and rely on you.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
I can't say I do. It would be quite unfair if it did exist.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Define success. To me, it means strengthening one's tribe.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
In general I'm fairly honest. But I don't really volunteer information about my self without reason, or if it might impact me negatively.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Honestly, I think Lalafell are ridiculous creatures. They're weak. Without their magic they wouldn't last a day. And weakness should not be viewed with pity, but contempt.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against magic per se. It is a very useful art, and it makes life so much simpler for everyone. But at it's heart it is still only a crutch, and not true strength.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Â Why do you refuse to do it?
I refuse to shave off my mane. You will have to kill me first. A Miqo'te without a mane is no Miqo'te at all.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
My tribe, obviously.
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Probably optimistic, but I try to also be realistic.

My tribe would.

*Sighs* Like I said, I don't have routines. So there's nothing to disrupt.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
Adaptability.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
*Snorts* I'd have to be some manner of idiot to tell you that.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'd make myself 20% less awesome. It feels like I'm overdoing it at the moment.

I am whatever best suits the situation... Adaptable, remember?
89. Are you generally organized or messy?

Find a courier to carry my notebook with all of my findings back to my tribe, drink a whole bunch of the most expensive rum I could find, and bed the prettiest Miqo'te girl around. Or quite literally die trying.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Greatly increasing the prosperity of the tribe. Also increasing the size of the tribe by siring lots of kittens.
98. What three words best describe your personality?
That's quite an insult, insinuating that my personality is so shallow it could be summed up in three words. I'll let it slide this time, but don't let it happen again.

"What the fuck?"
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character?  (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice…)
