All right, so just to clarify a few things, because apparently clarification is needed.
1) I am not thin-skinned. I was not posting this as a "QQ this guy ruined our RP I'm so sad" thread, more of a "Lol look at this asshole" thread, because while his crafting was hardly disruptive to the point where our RP could not continue, I did find it funny that out of aaaaallllll the spots in the Quicksand where he could have crafted, he chose smack dab in the middle of our table, so obviously it was intentional. It was meant for lulz, not for raging.Â
2) I make liberal use of my blacklist for trolls like the ones who showed up after our crafting friend here. As should everyone. Ignoring them is by far the best course of action, because they feed on attention and even a simple "Your life must be so sad, that you can waste time in a pay-to-play game disrupting others' enjoyment of the game" will only feed their sad little game and encourage their behavior.Â
3) To whichever poster it was playing devil's advocate, no, we cannot make them respect our desire to RP in the game, nor is there really anything we or Square can do to force them to stop, but having your jimmies at least a little rustled that they do it is not being a crybaby bitch about it. It is a justifiable reaction and something that these forums are, in part, here for. So don't be surprised or offended or exasperated or whatever when someone throws up a thread about trolls where they just want to blow off a little steam.
