Also, like someone said you might want to incorporate it to your story, which would work rather well. I imagine you introducing your character by the way YOU want it to sound by spelling it out, and undoubtedly people will accidentally/purposely type in the way your name is typed above your head and you can RP it as them pronouncing it incorrectly if they are saying your name (OR they may take the road of typing it out the way you want it to be typed out, meaning their character remembers how to pronounce your name). Then EVENTUALLY, when the name change is available, boom. Most will start typing your name the way it officially looks like--unless they are RPing a character who likes to piss your character off xDÂ
The ONLY problem I see with the above way IF you chose to RP it out like that is IF you change your name to something DRASTICALLY different.
If NO name change is available, cut your loss. You making a thread about it already gives you the answer you need, regardless of the fact that you were looking for just opinions, aye?
