I as well spent quite some time tweaking my character at the start. but as a note, you receive a Fantasia item upon purchasing a one months subscription (it lets you reset your character customization. but not the name.) As well as they've (the devs) mentioned a barbers chair in the upcoming 2.1 patch which will allow some basic changes. So don't feel that you have to chisel this first attempt from marble with narry a flaw.
