
Kieaira once more filled the pot with water and waddled back towards the group, leaving a trail of droplets in the sand. "Can someone put this in the fire please?" She left the pot to the others and retrieved the basket of veggies from the cart.
"I wish we had some meat or spices ... I don't suppose you know botany?" Her ice blue gaze landed on Lorielle, a hopeful smile on her face. "Else the soup is going to be really bland..."
She sat down on her knees near the fire and began breaking up the vegetables the best she could, snapping a few carrots and some celery in half and throwing them in the pot. "Even a fish would be nice..." She frowned, trying to hide any sort of sad feeling she may have had earlier.
