Tobias smiles in thanks as Lorielle releases her hold of the pot. Though they did not have precious few seconds to playfully interact with one another over who got to hold what, perhaps more so a pity that neither would know that both would have wished for the same thing.
The Hyur took notice of Kieaira's departure from the group, but perhaps perceived something other than her wanting to just be alone. However, little time could be spared on thoughts of her as the meal began to warm fairly quickly. His hold on it was steady, though suddenly the hunger pang struck again--a bit more audibly this time.
"Ahhh, heh..." he could only manage as his stomach grumbles anxiously for the meal. It did not take much longer before Kieaira announced that it was ready. Tobias stifles a giddy sound with an anticipation of hunger that betrays his usual calm demeanor.Â
Tobias' eyes meet with Lorielle's after she had placed out all the 'kitchen ware'. Four bowls, a jug, and and a vase. It was better than nothing at all indeed. However, he does manage to chip in at least one lighthearted joke. As corny as it was, "Just so you know, I would have stopped you from passing out the dishes too. I just had my hands a bit...preoccupied." a faint smile is given before he pours the stew into each container.
Every container holds a fairly even amount as Tobias finishes. He places the pot down next to the camp fire, enough left over for at least three more fills. The dark-haired Hyur looks over again to Lorielle, offering another quiet smile before he hands her one of the bowls. "Back to resting and eating for you now," his tone both soothing and deep, "and thank you. For earlier."Â
He looks back over to the Miqo'te who had left, a slight frown now over his features though it dissipates quickly. "I hope we can find another chance to," his words trail with darkend eyes somewhat hidden behind raven locks as he ends his sentence with a genial upward curl of his lips. "Excuse me, will you?" Tobias takes two bowls, one in each hand and moves away from the campfire.
"Gil for your thoughts?" the Hyur asks in a casual whisper with an offering of a meal. Hopefully his coming into view of Kieaira will not startle her too much.
