Purely for information, this transfer away and back scheme would most certainly work if you timed it with a friend who would roll a character with the exact name you had, so when you transfer back a character with the same name is found, thus forcing a name change on the "new" arrival. This is how it worked in other mmo's. Of course Namingway cards would make this pointless. Ermahgerd! Balmung: Azyria, Helena, Agata, Jeanette, and more... Mateus: In progress
