And, as John Spiegel said, a frying pan to the face hurts like hell. I'd imagine the same could be said of a botanist's axe, or a smithing hammer (just ask Perrin Aybara, of Wheel of Time fame, how well that can work out ), and so on. Hell, arcanists use a book to fight, and I'd imagine more than a few of us have, in fact, bludgeoned something or someone with it. Maqali Qulaan S'janna Rahz (retired)
