K'luha wiped the sweat from her brow as she hauled the last jug of water from the water supply back to the camp. Their water supply was a little far out, and since she had to use so much water to clean K'mana's injuries, she had to replinsh their readied supplies. K'luha picked up the cermanic jug once more and continued walking, using her shoulder to help balance the weight so she could walk normally.Â
The camp was awake with early morning activity while the burning sun rose over the peaks of the sand to give welcomed warmth from the freezing desert night. K'luha felt the sun hit her olive skin and shuddered faintly with a small happiness. The kind of small happiness that could only come from being at home.Â
K'luha dropped the jug off in front of her tent before peering inside to check on K'ailia and K'mana. Her sister had passed out after suddenly returning, and K'luha refused to let anyone see K'mana or tend to her wounds besides herself. At least, not until K'luha could give her sister a damn good talking to.Â
To her surprise, K'mana was already up and stretching on her bedroll. K'luha didn't see K'ailia in the tent either, so she was either hinding deep beneath her covers or already out and about.Â
"K'mana!" The elder sister called lightly, giving a warm smile as she slipped into the tent to sit next to K'mana. "I'm so glad you're safe and..." she paused only to slap K'mana very sharply across the cheek again. "You're an idiot! What were you thinking doing all of that!? And bringing someone you hardly knew back with you! I could wring you scrawny neck!" she hissed furiously, grabbing for her sister's hand to hold it with her own. "Don't think I'm going to forgive you for this either K'mana. You're a child now more than ever, and you're going to have to fight with us before you could ever change anyone's mind that you failed your trial and abandoned us." K'luha narrowed her gaze for a few moments before moving in to hug K'mana lightly again.Â
"K'mana... I love you sister, so please. Listen to me... I don't want to loose you." K'luha confessed softly, holding back her unbridled flurry of emotions.
