Don't forget we also have Macros.  I feel everyone has quirks and mannerisms that they do.  If there's a certain action that you do rather often, making a macro for it in RP might be another way to accomplish a "trademark" move that your character does lol. (examples include Cloud shrugging, Squall and his "...Whatever", Zidane "staring", or Snow pounding his fists together.)
