K'ailia Yohko: Here's good.
K'ile Twinflame is looking straight up as they walk, "Why's the roof so high? They store other buildings in this building?"
K'ailia Yohko smiles at you.
K'ailia Yohko: I could give ya a history lesson, but then that aint why yer here.
K'ile Twinflame: No, guess not. So, go ahead and let me in on the big story.
K'ile Twinflame walks over beside K'ailia and drops into a stoic crouch.
K'ailia Yohko: well it has a lot ta do with the tribe.
K'ailia Yohko: I love the tribe so much. But I worry that if the tribe dun move... it will slowly die.
K'ailia Yohko puts a hand to her chest "It hurts here thinkin' about it"
K'ile Twinflame nods, "We all have that worry."
K'ailia Yohko: But... I also been havin' thoughts about what would happen if the tribe dun do nothin an does go on that path.
K'ailia Yohko: I can't help but keep thinkin' about bad case scenarios...
K'ailia Yohko: So... I went ta ma, ta talk ta her about it. I dun think I could handle seein' the tribe, my family, die around me like that.
K'ailia Yohko: I'd sooner exile myself before experiencin' it...
K'ailia Yohko sees you and her eyes begin to well up.
K'ile Twinflame sees K'ailia getting emotional and quickly says, "Hey. You've got nothing to cry about, I bet. It won't be as bad as you think it is."
K'ailia Yohko: An' when I tol' ma this, she told me I was selfish... ungrateful, and even a brat. Slapped me, and declared she was no longer my mother
K'ailia Yohko: An' mentioned losin' a child before.
K'ile Twinflame nods.
K'ailia Yohko: Everyone keeps seein' nothin but bad in outsiders. Always judgin' everyone based on a couple bad apples.
K'ailia Yohko: But... I dun think like that.
K'ailia Yohko: I see outsiders as bein' good, unless the individual shows they are bad.
K'ile Twinflame: Well. I've got no complicated philosophy on outsiders that I can help you out with, except maybe no assume too much about what the other tribefolk think. I can tell you right up front your mom doesn't hate you, though.
K'ailia Yohko: Ya' know... right after my mother left me, I returned ta this city, an Ventus an' another member o' the K tribe, a different branch, comforted me.
K'ailia Yohko: The K tribe member, said I showed a deep love for the tribe. But I was too... I basically was reactin' too fast ta what hasn't happened yet.
K'ile Twinflame: I agree with the K. You're tinking too hard. Trying to cover too much. You shouldn't be thinking about the tribe at all right now. Just you and your mom.
K'ailia Yohko looks to the floor. "How can I get her ta talk ta me though...?"
K'ile Twinflame: K'ailia, your mom's just scared. You know now she's lost a child before, and there's nothing worse than that. K'piru left because she couldn't handle it. Your mom /did/ handle it. She survived it once. She doesn't want to do it again. You threatening to leave her? Nobody could ever threaten anything worse.
K'ile Twinflame: She ran away from you same as you were thinking about running away from the tribe. She'd rather find a hhole to crawl into and never see anyone again than watch you walk away.
K'ailia Yohko: That's the other thing... I think I saw K'piru...
K'ile Twinflame lilts heavily to one side, "Eh? ... Well. Your mom's a lot like K'piru, I guess. But..."
K'ailia Yohko: How did she lose the child?
K'ile Twinflame looks distracted for a moment, then shakes himself. "What?"
K'ailia Yohko: The child Ma lost... how did she lose it?
K'ile Twinflame averts his eyes and brushes at his face. "It was... It wasn't fair. It doesn't matter. Just leave it be."
K'ailia Yohko: Alright...
K'ailia Yohko: So... how do I talk ta ma?
K'ailia Yohko: I've never gotten inta a fight with her before... I dunno what ta do...
K'ile Twinflame manages to smirk, though it takes some effort. "I've gotten in lots of fights with your mom. Just say you're sorry as soon as possible. And, by the way, your mom told me to tell you that she /is/ sorry. And she doesn't usually apologize first, so that means a lot."
K'ailia Yohko smiles at you.
K'ailia Yohko: I guess... I misjudged ya...
K'ailia Yohko: Yer not so bad after all.
K'ile Twinflame chuckles, "Oh, that's sweet. K'ile the not-so-bad Tia. I'll take the title to the grave."
K'ailia Yohko laughs at you.
K'ailia Yohko: Well I am jes glad I dinna send the chunk o' earth at yer kit makers now.
K'ile Twinflame: Eh, that wouldn't be so bad. Maybe if you did people would stop bugging me about being Nunh.
K'ailia Yohko bursts out laughing at you.
You smile at K'ailia Yohko.
K'ailia Yohko: An' ya would have a voice like mine!
K'ailia Yohko: Ya' know though... we got somethin' in common.
K'ile Twinflame ventures, "Your mom yells at us?"
K'ailia Yohko laughs at you.
K'ailia Yohko: okay two things in common.
K'ailia Yohko: I aint interested in makin' kits either.
K'ile Twinflame: Heh. That's fine. Give it another ten or twenty years and you might feel different, though.
K'ailia Yohko: I am gonna go find ma.
K'ailia Yohko: I think it is time we talked.
K'ile Twinflame: Me too. Oh, and stop worrying so much about the tribe. It's not that bad yet and it's not like we're going to do /nothing/.
K'ailia Yohko nods to you.
K'ailia Yohko: Ya' know, I do know a few areas we can scout. I hadn't been sittin' on me tail.
K'ailia Yohko quickly gets to her feet and brushes herself off.
K'ailia Yohko: So where is ma?
K'ile Twinflame: Worry about that tomorrow. Your mom's at the quicksand.
K'ile Twinflame stands with her.
K'ailia Yohko: Alright I will head there.
You bid farewell to K'ailia Yohko.
