Nalani was from probably one of the more old fashioned families but they wouldn't have been unfriendly just proper-ish and she would have been 17 at the time of the Calamity. How much they would have known each other is something we can discuss! I'm always open for them having had ties as friends, or even just having been somewhat friendly because their families were peers in a sense. As well as other options of course too, he could have despised her and I wouldn't mind! Siha Xinkei
