I must say the lack of a walk button was also a deal breaker on TERA for me. I wanted to RP a tubby cat man... :< (And no. I refuse to roleplay a Miqo'te. Roegadyn at heart!) Still, I tried to just play TERA for it's PvE and PvP content but a game without roleplay is like a gamer without fingers. POSSIBLE, but incredibly more difficult. 
And, as others have said, no post requirement to use the wiki! Feel free to put your character up their whenever you like. (Is say this and not "ASAP" because I have been meaning to do just that for weeks now. ONE DAY!)
