I know some people write in their Search Info certain factors, like if their Fairy (SCH) is up then they're not IC. For myself, I tell them to PM me first to check - it can be frustrating when your character isn't in their proper attire but they try to initiate on you and then you're called 'clowny' from now on (Yeah, you know who you are. T_T )
