Whenever I feel a bit nervous or shy about sending pms/tells to people, I think of it this way: Â it's always nice to have someone you don't know pick your work out of the dozens of other works that they could have picked. Â It's complimentary. Â So, by showing interest in what they've built, you're essentially telling them that they've done a good job, and there's never enough of that in the world. Â So feel good about potentially brightening someone's day!
(I know it always makes me feel good when a stranger wants to rp with me, even if the rp itself doesn't pan out for whatever reason.)
