I honestly missed that part in the WHM story-arc. :/ Oh well. Gilgamesh is fairly forgiving anyway and I remember running into a few whitties ic beforehand...
I wouldn't so much say that you missed it, so much as it's a matter of debate whether that's still true in 2.x (it was definitely the case in 1.x, though). I'm not going to revive the debate except to say that not everyone agrees on what the lore says with regards to whether a PC can plausibly be a White Mage.
