Be as social as possible (OOC of course, your character can be a grumpy-grump IC). Roleplaying is just writing without other participants. Don't be afraid to send /tells or PMs to people, ask about organizations you find interesting, or anything else. This is not a community that turns people down typically unless there's a significant clash or ideas or a bad fit. Its safe to say that every group would like another solid RP'er to write with.
