Depends on if you are playing a Seeker of the Sun or Keeper of the Moon. They have different naming conventions.Â
Seekers add a letter at the beginning, depending on the tribe they are a part of. So it could be something as simple as him dropping that first letter and going by Rakiba, or he is part of the Raptor tribe and his name is R'akiba.
If a Keeper, you have a bit more freedom. The males add a letter to the end of their names denoting their birth order. So for the name you picked, you could do Rakib'a. He'd be the first born son of his tribe.
So really, your name works for either. Of course, if your character completely wants to separate himself from his tribe and take a whole new name, anything works.
I think Rakiba is a great name and both names you mentioned as a last name go well with it.
