“Battlefield First Response Training†presented by chirurgeon and physicker Daphine Rysen.
Â
This class will be held at (( to be announced : Doodle: Yes or tentative yeses, all times that apply)) in (( likely outside of Limsa or Ul’dah, if not in the cities themselves.)).
Â
This class will cover subjects such as field triage, alchemical aids and mending techniques to ensure the best possible outcome for an injured ally that is outside the immediate reach of a healer or medic. Supplies will be provided for practice purposes if they are so desired.Â
Â
Our tentative topics of discussion for now are:
Â
While I can offer some advice into healing via the Arcanum, this class will not be touching on those techniques.
Â
This class is recommended for all ability levels.
Â
Â
OOC giblets:
Â
Unless there is a large demand, I think this class will be offered twice a month. I’d be willing to work one-one with characters as needed if they’re looking for a mentor on the road to developing a more traditional doctor/medic/surgeon versus a straight up healer.
Â
A little disclaimer:
The information that will be presented will be largely adapted from techniques used in real life. The only ties I hold to the medical profession are ten years of first aid and CPR certification, a paramedic/cop father, a love for medical textbooks, Google, Untold Stories of the ER and lotsa RP!
Â
In other words: I am not a doctor, I just play one on TV. Â
Â
Though I encourage everyone to certify in first aid and CPR…you could save a life.
