I was going to make an Elezen, and I was leaning towards Wildwood. I was torn between Pugilist and Lancer, and had finally settled on Lancer. Browsing the RP forums because I cannot create a new character, I stumbled upon Ishgardian posts! And as it turns out, that all kind of lined up with what I was making. So I have two questions about Ishgardians.Â
1) The Elezen population.. is that more Wildwood? It almost seems like they would put their city-state before their ancestry and just not care, but thought I'd ask. If all we got is speculation, that's fine.Â
2) Is there a specific naming convention Ishgardian Elezen follow, or is it just the standard Elezen naming conventions? I really liked the name Ysabelle Fleurette, but I'm also not sure if that fits or not. It sounds a little.. too French. So any feed back would be appreciated there ^^
Hello! I can help you out with your questions as I'm one of the players of the Ishgardian plot.
1. Ishgard seems to be made up of predominately Wildwood Elezen, not unlike Gridania, with Hyur coming in second. While they certain have pride in their country I suspect they like being Elezen too, well those that are Elezen anyway.
2. Elezen retain the French-influenced naming conventions regardless of which city-state they belong to. Really no name is TOO French when it comes to Elezen.
