Its great for learning parties (Garuda Exreene, ignore the spiny plume) and to priortize targets (pesky Gremlin in Lost City). It's a tool often unused for whatever reason.  Honestly, I have it keybound to my primary mouse button, its a very convenient place to mark targets quickly.
