So, anyone else notice Raubahn is looking hella rough @4:10? Like... not torture of losing an arm rough. Grey beard, significant grey hair. I'm sensing time passage or time skip between 2.55 and Heavensward. At least a few months, if not a year?

They said Heavenswards starts from a couple of days to a couple of weeks following 2.55's events.

I did wonder the same however, though perhaps it's the lighting exaggerating it since it otherwise looks like a CGI version of what we saw in-game.

Seeing all those scenes of dragoons flying every which-way and dropping from mid-air onto their targets pleases me so greatly.

First because it answers the question of how efficacious dragoon jump can actually be in battle (re: extremely), secondly because it shows that the crazy acrobatics and supernatural powers are most definitely not even close to being limited to Midlander and his WoL companions (though granted, Raubhan's fight against Ilbern itself already proved this).

Thus I will smugly sit right here and say "I told you so" a million times, because seriously it was so silly that anyone was even questioning this in the first place. It's Final Fantasy, man! That's just how things work 'round these parts.

Nice to see incredible jumping powers used from non-WoL people. I've always been of the opinion that with aether being what it is, that plenty of clever or determined individuals (especially adventurers?) have the potential to learn some very flashy skills/magic.
My personal favorite part of the trailer was actually that first little snippet of Ishgard, with the civilians and soldiers just moving about. It was very brief but I liked the subtly implied tone of the people's lives. There was a certain air to it that was a little different from what we've seen of Eorzea so far (or I'm massively extrapolating, that's possible too). I'm very interested to see how Heavensward's general 'mood' is.
