There's been minor improvement! The word bubble that does nothing when you click on it is now showing [person icon, green light] Chat (6) and the minimize/maximize arrow has been replaced with a little green slide bar option! Well, the number of the Chat is (0) until I minimize and maximize it, then it shows a number.

Still, I'm seeing more even if I'm still not able to actually open up the chat. Progress! Big Grin

I'm going through a full reinstall. That chat will be a little wonky while I reconfigure everything.

Friendslist was handled by the forum itself, so no need to worry about that.

I'm working on trying to fix some mangled HTML that's only showing up on the index page. Post-reply pages should be loading the chat as normal.

Still trying to figure out why the bar won't work correctly on the index page and elsewhere. For now, I've reverted all changes I've tried today and restored the most recent backup I have of the database.

I adjusted some of the code being called by the site. ...which means this hopefully didn't break anything else. >_> <_< >_> (gonna need Freelance to check it out, likely)

Now enabled: [chat] tag. Should you want, you can now invoke the "chatWith" code and add a link to direct chat you. Becuase users only show up if they're on your friends list or in the same room, you can use this to contact an offline user as well! To find your User ID, go to your user page / profile page.

Should this get abused, it'll be disabled.
